Don't forget about it's sister from the winter, Yule Fuel. Malty and Spiced, naughty and nice.
Royal Oil is a much anticipated release in the greater Denver area for the most avid brew heads. This top shelf strong ale label was approached and executed with a heavy influence from early 20th century oil cans. The emphasis of the design is relied on simplicity, in juxtaposition to the complex palate of the ale, and boldness.
In December 2015–January 2016 Adventurer Doug Tumminello will set his sights on arguably the most remote place on the planet, the South Pole. Doug will attempt to ski from the coast of Antarctica, at Hercules Inlet, to the South Pole—a distance of approximately 750 miles! Doug will be completely unsupported which means he will not be receiving any supplies during the trek. Doug suspects this incredible adventure will take 40-45 days.
I was thrilled when asked to design a logo mark for Doug and his amazing expedition. Doug has been majorly inspired by early 20th century explorers which gave me a great perspective for the design. I took reference to the history of patchwork used in exploration and Doug's interest in earlier history.
His story is like no other and encourages us to think of the possibilities we as humans can push ourselves to endure.Learn more of his story here.
With Buckle I was fortunate enough for the chance to rebrand BKE Vintage, a private label brand for men, representing authentic Americana style with garments and denim inspired by classic work wear. Who doesn't love a little vintage?

Out here in the West when someone refers to 'the tower' chances are it isn't a skyscraper or a giant clock. What they're talking about is the nearby water tower, a good old fashioned salt of the Earth water supply standing tall in the big blue country sky. The Tower E.S.B. (Extra Special Bitter) is a tasty classic English style ale.
Pirogue is a cigar bar based in the rich cultured city of New Orleans. With a full menu of unique hand rolled stogies and pleasant list of local spirits, it's easy to recognize as a place to unwind among the hustle and bustle of Bourbon Street.
Founder Russell Owens named the joint after a common way of transportation around the Louisiana marsh, the flat bottomed canoe-like boat 'pirogue'. You can find a linoleum cut and printed portrait of the ol' legend himself down below. Cheers!
The perfect summer seasonal pale ale, slightly hoppy, with a touch of fresh grapefruit. It was only right to apply a hand drawn design with just as much attention to detail as the hands that squeezed those grapefruits. School's out, and you can truthfully say you got a 4.0 GPA.
